A rare earth aluminum oxide ceramic roller and a preparing method thereof
The invention discloses a rare earth aluminum oxide ceramic roller and a preparing method thereof, and particularly relates to a rare earth aluminum oxide ceramic roller used in a mainstream wide roller kiln for firing floor tiles and a preparing method thereof. The technical problems to be overcome are that common ceramic rollers at present are thick in wall, and are large in high-temperature deformation, easy to bend, and liable to damage under quick cooling and quick heating conditions during using processes. The ceramic roller is prepared from following raw materials by weight: 15-20 parts of porcelain clay, 8-15 parts of ball clay, 20-35 parts of calcinated aluminum oxide, 25-45 parts of fused alumina, 3-9 parts of zirconium silicate and 0.3-1 part of a rare earth oxide the melting point of which is higher than 2400 DEG C. By adopting the technical scheme, high-temperature strength and bearing capacity of the ceramic roller are improved, and the horizontal operation degree of floor tiles in wide roller kilns is largely increased, thus ensuring the yield of the floor tiles.
