The invention discloses an electric tamper comprising a first tamping body and a second tamping body. A first clamping body is fixedly connected to the first tamping body, and a second clamping body is fixedly connected to the second tamping body. A vibrator is sleeved with the first clamping body and the second clamping body. The first clamping body and the second clamping body are connected through a plurality of screws and are made of cast steel. The vibrator refers to a high-frequency electric vibrator. Compared with integrally formed tampers, the electric tamper has the advantages that since the two independent tamping bodies are arranged at the bottom of a tamper body, the tamper is flexible, labor saving and convenient.
