The invention discloses an application method of an electric flexible shaft tamper. The application method comprises the following steps: a, determining the direction of a motor; b, screwing a connecting handle on the head of the motor, inserting a flexible shaft into a motor shaft, and inserting a connecting head into a head hole so that the connecting handle falls into a connector arc slot to be rotationally connected with a handle; c, starting a combined switch, and bumping against the front end of a vibrating rod over the ground, wherein the over the vibrating rod can be used after high-frequency sound is made, a damping handle and a fastening nut connected with the hose are loosened and then re-screwed after a section of a circuit is tamped. Two travelling frames are placed at the two sides of a same tamped light rail when the electric flexible shaft tamper is in use; furthermore, the quenching rigidity of the vibrating rod is HRC 50-55; in addition, the electric flexible shaft tamper has the characteristics of good tamping quality and high efficiency.
