The invention discloses a hand washing basin which comprises a basin body and a water faucet communicated with a water feeding pipe, wherein the water faucet is mounted on the basin body; a clamping slot is formed in the edge of an opening of the basin body; lamps with seven colors are arranged in the clamping slot; a transparent cover is attached to a notch of the clamping slot; a waterproof sealing pad is arranged between the transparent cover and the slot wall of the clamping slot; a lead wire channel is also formed in the basin body; power lead wires of the lamps with seven colors are connected with an external power supply through the lead wire channel. According to the hand washing basin, the lamps with seven colors are mounted in the basin body, so that the hand washing basin can emit dazzling light, and a more delightful mood can be brought to a user.
