The invention relates to the technical field of civil engineering and particularly relates to a stiff skeleton and a method for controlling the steel bar binding precision of a large member by using the stiff skeleton. The stiff skeleton provided by the invention comprises multiple rows of skiff skeleton units arranged in parallel, and through-long rods connecting the rows of skiff skeleton units together, wherein the rows of skiff skeleton units are arranged on a bottom reinforced net; a lower chord is mounted on the bottom reinforced net; the rows of skiff skeleton units on the bottom reinforced net are integrally connected together by using the through-long rods, and a top reinforced net is bonded on an upper chord of each of the stiff skeleton units to finally form an integral reinforcement cage. In the stiff skeleton and a manufacturing method thereof, the stiff skeleton is convenient to construct. Compared with a conventional control process of an erection bar, according to the stiff skeleton and the manufacturing method thereof, the safety performance and the construction efficiency are greatly improved, and the steel bar binding precision of a large concrete member can be effectively controlled.
