The invention discloses a steel bridge reinforcing method based on a stiff skeleton design concept. The steel bridge reinforcing method comprises the following steps that an old steel bridge to be reinforced is prepared; redesigning the structure; reinforcement treatment and durability improvement measures of the nodes are taken; shear keys and binding steel bars are additionally arranged on the old steel bridge component; closing old steel bridge traffic, pouring concrete and curing; and reinforcement is completed. According to the method, the old steel bridge serves as a pouring support for later-stage concrete reinforcement, and finally the steel-concrete structure with high bearing capacity and high durability is formed. The method is widely applicable to steel truss girder bridges, steel truss arch bridges, steel plate I-beam bridges, steel box girder bridges and the like.
