The invention belongs to the field of side hung doors and discloses a novel side hung door control system which comprises a left door, a right door, a controller, a sensor and a plurality of motors arranged on each of the left door and the right door. A plurality of cylinders are fixedly arranged inside each of the left door and the right door, supporting columns capable of extending out of the left door and the right door are connected on the cylinders, rubber covers the surface of each of the left door and the right door, and the controller controls the sensor, the motors and the cylinders. Compared with the prior art, the novel side hung door control system has the advantages that part of impact of an automobile can be borne, and the circumstance of losing of blocking effect after a side hung door is impacted is prevented, so that the problem that existing side hung doors cannot bear impact of the automobile is solved.
