The invention discloses a novel insulating ladder apparatus. The novel insulating ladder apparatus comprises an insulating ladder body and footboards fixedly arranged on the insulating ladder body; one side of the lower part of the insulating ladder body is provided with vertical supporting frames respectively; the vertical supporting frames shape like inverted-T; and the upper ends of the vertical supporting frames are connected with the insulating ladder body via hinge joint. The connection parts of the vertical supporting frames with the insulating ladder body are 120 to 170cm away from the bottom of the insulating ladder body. The novel insulating ladder apparatus is capable of solving problems that in using process of conventional insulating ladders, sliding downward and side turn are easily caused, and realizing effective supporting of the conventional insulating ladders; manpower is saved greatly; and the novel insulating ladder apparatus is simple in structure, and is safe and reliable.
