A paint sprayer for outer walls of buildings comprises a paint spraying device and a transmission device. According to the transmission device, through four motor gears, two gear chains and a gear chain box, a motor drives the gears positioned on upper and lower surfaces of the paint sprayer to drive the paint sprayer to move up and down along the gear chains on two sides of the paint sprayer. The paint sprayer further comprises a mechanical box and a paint box. A high-pressure pump, the motor and a remote receiver are mounted on the mechanical box. The spraying device is a spraying rod composed of a plurality of nozzles, wherein the spraying rod is mounted on the inner side of the outer bottom of the paint sprayer. The remote receiver controls the motor and the high-pressure pump which is connected with the paint box and the spraying rod. The paint sprayer is high in speed and uniform in paint spraying, personal safety of workers is guaranteed, workers' health is protected, and the paint sprayer is free from building height limitation on paint spraying.
