The present invention discloses a method for using a high alcoholysis degree polyvinyl acetate modified beta gypsum to manufacture a ceramic tableware mold. In the prior art, the beta gypsum has characteristics of poor strength, low price and good water absorption, such that the ceramic tableware mold selected the alpha gypsum with characteristics of high strength and high price to match. According to the present invention, a small amount of polyvinyl acetate with alcoholysis degree of 80-99% is added to the beta gypsum to prepare the ceramic tableware mold, such that the good water absorption of the beta gypsum is not significantly reduced or even be improved while the strength of the ceramic tableware mold is increased so as to easily improve the use number and the production efficiency of the ceramic tableware mold and reduce the production cost.
