The invention discloses a segmented railway track laying set and a transportation method thereof. The segmented railway track laying set comprises a main engine, an auxiliary engine and hydraulic reloading frames. The main engine comprises a main engine flat car, an engine arm, a front gantry stand column, a rear gantry stand column, a track hanging trolley and a track hanging trolley walking mechanism. The engine arm is arranged on the main engine flat car through the front gantry stand column and the rear gantry stand column and provided with a track on which the track hanging trolley can move front and back, and the walking mechanism is arranged at the rear end of the engine arm. The auxiliary engine at least comprises an auxiliary engine flat car. The engine arm, a main engine flat car engine body and an auxiliary engine flat car engine body are arranged in a segmented mode. By the adoption of the segmented design and reasonable distribution, loading and transportation, the problem that it is difficult to transport the whole equipment is solved, and assembling precision and working efficiency are improved.
