The invention discloses a shock insulation support seat and an installation method thereof. The shock insulation support seat comprises a rubber support seat body, a node steel casting, a lower support and an upper support; the lower support comprises a horizontally arranged lower support flange plate and lower support vertical plates vertically supported on the lower side of the lower support flange plate, the upper support comprises a horizontally arranged upper support flange plate and an upper support vertical plate vertically arranged on the upper side of the upper support flange plate, and the lower support vertical plates are installed on a support bracket or a supporting stand column; a lower flange plate of the rubber support seat body is connected with the lower support flange plate, and the upper support flange plate is connected with an upper flange plate of the rubber support seat body; a horizontal pipe of the node steel casting is installed on the upper support vertical plate, the height of the lower support vertical plates is adjustable, and a positioning groove used for containing the horizontal pipe of the node steel casting is formed in the upper support vertical plate. The height of the lower support can be adjusted by cutting the lower support vertical plates, then the height of the overall shock insulation support seat can be adjusted, the installation errors can be eliminated, the upper support with the positioning groove is arranged, the node steel casting can be directly placed in the positioning groove, and unnecessary accessories are not needed.
