The invention discloses a downward rotation type parking device comprising travelling guide rails, parking platens and driving devices. Each travelling guide rail comprises a rail groove, wherein each rail groove comprises a first straight part, a second straight part and a bend part located between the first part and the second part. The parking platens are parallel to the first parts of the rail grooves when located at the working station, and one side face of each parking platen is provided with a guide wheel set capable of guiding the parking platen to move in the extension direction of the corresponding rail groove. Each driving device is arranged at the head portion of the corresponding parking platen and comprises a driving motor fixed to the corresponding parking platen, a driving wheel in rotating connection with the corresponding parking platen and supporting rolling wheels arranged below two sides of the tail portion of the corresponding parking platen and supported on a foundation ground. The driving wheels drive the parking platens to horizontally move on the foundation ground after being driven by the driving motors.
