The invention discloses a ceramic tile with a humidity adjusting function and a production method of the ceramic tile. The ceramic tile is divided into a fabric layer and a backing material layer from top to bottom, wherein the fabric layer is prepared from plastic soil with high loss of ignition, diatomaceous shale, vermiculite, bauxite and attapulgite; a backing material is prepared from low-temperature powder of ceramic powder of which the firing shrinkage coefficient is consistent with that of fabric; the ceramic tile is fired at a low temperature after being molded; a glass phase of the fabric layer is not generated, so that a hole is not plugged; the expansion coefficients among kinds of raw materials are not matched, so that small micro cracks are generated on submicron moisture absorption holes; the moisture absorption-desorption capability is enhanced; and the strength of the brick is ensured after the backing material layer is sintered. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the problem of low strength of an existing humidity-adjusting material ceramic brick is solved.
