The invention discloses a bridge expansion joint structure which is characterized in that for an expansion joint positioned between adjacent segmental bridge bodies, a top plane of an expansion plate arranged in the expansion joint is lower than the height of a bridge floor to form a downward concave platform, a replaced paving layer is arranged on the downward concave platform, the top face of the paving layer is parallel and level to the height of the bridge floor, supporting structures are arranged at the bottom of the expansion plate and comprise arched supporting bodies erected between the bridge bodies on two sides of the expansion joint, supporting rods are arranged on the supporting bodies, the supporting plate is collectively supported by step surfaces of the bridge bodies of two sides of the expansion joint, the supporting rods and the arched supporting bodies, the arched supporting bodies and the supporting rods are steel structure parts, the paving layer is an elastic material layer and a structure layer with gradient performances of a mechanical function, and the strength of the paving layer in the vertical direction is gradually increased from upper surface to lower surface. The bridge expansion joint structure can rapidly absorb kinetic energy after an impact load is applied, the impact load is effectively buffered, the service life of the bridge expansion joint structure is prolonged, and driving comfort is improved.
