A roadside warning device comprises a rotating mechanism arranged in a box body and a rocking bar in mechanical connection with the rotating mechanism, one end of the rocking bar is arranged inside the box body, the other end of the rocking bar is arranged outside the box body, and the end, outside the box body, of the rocking bar is driven by the rotating mechanism to swing from side to side in a reciprocating mode; a power source is arranged in the box body, and the power source is electrically connected with the rotating mechanism. The roadside warning device has the advantages that the rocking bar can swing automatically, the manpower is saved, the original static warning is changed into dynamic warning, the attention of a driver can be attracted to a greater extent, and the traffic accidents are reduced.
