In order to effectively collect floating objects on the surfaces of rivers and lakes, the invention provides a floating object collector. The floating object collector is a nylon rope woven mesh about 0.5 m in depth, wherein the lower ends of mesh rods are attached with precipitation heavy balls, and mesh ropes are fully connected with hollow floating balls about 0.2 m in diameter, so that the mesh surface is higher than the lake surface by about 0.2 m to effectively intercept the floating objects, and the floating objects are not escaped by hurdling; one end of the mesh is on the bank; and the other end of the mesh is hung on a ship.
