The invention discloses a mechanical unlocking steel rope used for supporting. The mechanical unlocking steel rope comprises an unlocking section, a fixed section and an unlocking device. The unlocking section comprises an unlocking steel wire and a plurality of working steel wires arranged outside the unlocking steel wire. The unlocking device comprises a shell, a force transmission base, a core column, pressing lock heads and an anchoring base. The connecting end of the unlocking steel wire and the connecting ends of the working steel wires are sequentially fixed to the interior of the shell and located at the first end of the shell. The core column is fixed to the connecting end of the unlocking steel wire, and the outer circumference of the core column is provided with a plurality of grooves A in the length direction. The multiple pressing lock heads are fixed to the connecting ends of the working steel wires respectively and connected to the interiors of the multiple grooves A in an abutting mode; the anchoring base is fixed to the second end of the shell and connected with the fixed section. When the mechanical unlocking steel rope is unlocked, the unlocking steel wire is pulled through a jack and the like, the core column can be pulled out, the pressing lock heads are released accordingly, the working steel wires are pulled out, the aim of recycling steel waste such as the working steel wires and the like is achieved, and construction saves energy and is environmentally friendly.
