The invention discloses a manganese zinc ferrite material and a preparation method thereof. The manganese zinc ferrite material comprises main components and auxiliary components. The main components comprise Fe2O3, ZnO and MnO according to a mole percentage ratio. The auxiliary components comprise one or more of CaO, Nb2O5, ZrO2, Co2O3 and WO3. The preparation method comprises the following steps of 1, blending, 2, ball milling, 3, vibration milling, 4, pre-sintering, 5, sand milling, 6, granulation molding and 7, sintering. The manganese zinc ferrite material obtained by the preparation method has magnetic permeability smoothly fluctuating in a range of 2400-4000 in a wide temperature range of -55 to 125 DEG C.
