The invention discloses an overhead type 3D parking device. The device comprises a vertical column, and a steel structural frame supported through the vertical column; a plurality of parking comb teeth frame units are arranged in parallel on the steel structural frame; trolley transverse moving tracks are arranged on frame cross beams at two side edges of the steel structural frame; a transverse moving trolley is arranged on the trolley transverse moving track; transverse moving trolley comb teeth frames for exchanging a car with the parking comb tooth frames are arranged on the transverse moving trolley; each transverse moving trolley comb teeth frame is that a self-lifting mechanism is arranged on the transverse moving trolley; a lifting machine is arranged at one end part of the steel structural frame and connected with lifting platform comb teeth frames. The 3D parking device is overhead, so that the floor area used is reduced; the 3D parking device can be arranged on a flat land or above a green zone and free of conflict with the facilities below; meanwhile, single-row parking comb teeth frames are provided and small in space, so that the overall structure is impact, and as a result, the floor area used is further saved.
