The invention discloses a pilot operated-type hydraulic automatic gate structure. A float chamber is arranged in an underground storage pond; a water flowing hole is formed in the lower part of the float chamber and is communicated with the underground storage pond; a float is arranged in the float chamber; edges of two sides and the edge of the bottom of a gate are matched with surfaces of two sides and the bottom of a flood discharge channel respectively in a sealing manner; a floating box chamber water inlet is formed in the bottom of the side wall of a floating box chamber at one side toward the water flow direction; a floating box chamber water outlet is formed in the bottom of the side wall of the floating box chamber at one side back onto the water flow direction; the floating box chamber water inlet is provided with a plugging device for plugging the floating box chamber water inlet; a linkage device is connected between the plugging device and the float. The plugging device is lifted up and down by floating and lowering of the float, when the liquid level of the storage pond is very low, water begins entering the floating box chamber, and the gate is automatically opened under the action of the floating box; when the storage pond achieves the highest liquid level, the plugging device plugs the floating box chamber water inlet and the gate is slowly closed.
