Disclosed is a fire prevention structure for a building. The fire prevention structure for the building comprises an upper supporting beam and a lower supporting beam, wherein the upper supporting beam and the lower supporting beam are arranged in parallel. One end of the upper supporting beam and one end of the lower supporting beam are located on an adjusting mechanism, and adjusting knobs are installed at the positions of connection between the adjusting mechanism and the upper supporting beam and between the adjusting mechanism and the lower supporting beam. Sliding baffle bars are vertically arranged on the upper supporting beam and the lower supporting beam, and the top and the bottom of each sliding baffle bar penetrate through the upper surface of the upper supporting beam and the lower surface of the lower supporting beam respectively to be arranged. An adjusting handle is installed on the side of the portion, close to the top, of the adjusting mechanism, and is fixed to the adjusting mechanism. A connecting plate is vertically installed on the side of the portion, close to the bottom, of the adjusting mechanism, and the connecting plate and the adjusting mechanism are fixedly connected. The fire prevention structure for the building is convenient to adjust and easy to construct, can be independently installed, has good ventilation performance, and is low in use cost and quite good in fixing performance, the fire prevention performance can be greatly improved, and the fire extinguishment work can be timely conducted when a fire happens.
