The invention relates to the field of steel structure mounting and processing, and discloses a tower type structure and a processing and mounting method thereof. The processing and mounting method comprises the following processing and mounting steps: a, processing and pre-assembling comprising the steps: a1, integrally manufacturing the stand column inclined sections and the stand column straight sections, and manufacturing inclined section beams, straight section beams and column pins; a2, splicing the straight section beams and the stand column straight sections to form a straight column section framework; b, mounting comprising the steps: b1, mounting the column pins and the stand column inclined sections; b2, mounting the inclined section beams; b3, mounting the straight column section framework of the spliced tower type structure on the stand column inclined sections. According to the tower type structure and the mounting method thereof disclosed by the invention, while the positioning precision is guaranteed, butt-joint welding junctions of the stand column are reduced, the safety performances are improved, and the modularized rapid construction in mounting is further facilitated.
