The invention discloses a lock and release adjusting mechanism for a furniture tilt-up door, which comprises tilt-up devices and lock and release adjusters which are arranged on a furniture cabinet and the furniture tilt-up door. Each tilt-up device comprises a fixing base, and at least first and second connecting arms are arranged on the fixing base, wherein one ends of the first and second connecting arms are hinged to the fixing base while the other ends of the first and second connecting arms are in transmission connection with the corresponding lock and release adjuster. Each lock and release adjuster comprises an adjusting base and a pedestal assembly, wherein the adjusting base is provided with an intermediate member through a screw adjusting member; and the pedestal assembly is provided with a buckle shaft which can be locked with or detached from an elastic buckle component on the intermediate member in a removable manner. With such structural improvements, the mechanism disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of simple and reasonable structure, reliable performance, rapid adjustment, convenience in operation, low manufacture cost, long service life, good practicality, etc.
