The invention provides a highway guardrail which comprises a stand column (10), a corrugated guardrail plate (20) and a buffering bracket (30) arranged between the stand column (10) and the guardrail plate (20). The stand column (10) is sleeved with a conical barrel (11), and the outer diameter of the conical barrel (11) is gradually increased from top to bottom. The buffering bracket (30) is arranged outside the conical barrel (11) in a sleeving mode from the upper portion of the conical barrel (11). The guardrail plate (20) is buckled on the buffering bracket (30). A buffering structure capable of moving up is arranged on the highway guardrail, all bolt type connecting components are omitted, the buffering deformation stroke of the highway guardrail is greatly increased, secondary harms are avoided, structure modification is little, and installation is convenient.
