The invention discloses a highway central guardrail and relates to the technical field of highway central guardrails. The guardrail comprises two guardrail assemblies, wherein each guardrail assemblycomprises a motor, a rotating shaft and a plurality of stand columns; the two ends of each rotating shaft are fixedly connected with rotating pieces; the rotating pieces are rotationally connected with fixing pieces; the motor is in power connection with one rotating piece; and the multiple stand columns are evenly and fixedly connected to the rotating shaft. Through the design of the two guardrail assemblies, the adjustment of the road width in a certain direction can be realized through the adjustment of the horizontal state and the vertical state of the stand columns in the two guardrail assemblies. Therefore, the width of the road in a certain direction can better adapt to the requirement of traffic flow, and traffic jam is reduced.
