The butt joint method comprises an auxiliary butt joint structure; the auxiliary butt joint structure comprises an upper sleeve, a lower sleeve, a supporting shaft, a stabilizing rod and a turbine worm reducing mechanism; the process for butt joint of the steel tubes comprises the steps that 1 an opening and closing sleeve of the lower sleeve is fixed to a first erected steel tube, the stabilizing rod is installed, a second steel tube is approached in a flat mode and fixed to the upper sleeve; 2 the end portion D or F of a worm is twisted slowly by a wrench, the upper sleeve is driven by the turbine worm reducing mechanism to erect, and the to-be-erected first steel tube is erected slowly, and a steel tube connecting piece is placed at the head portion of the second erected steel tube; 3 the H position is twisted, and the stabilizing rod is loosened; 4 a screw at the G position is twisted slowly, the supporting shaft and the to-be-erected first steel tube is dropped down slowly, and the steel tube connecting piece is connected in a butt joint mode; 5 the steel tube connecting piece is twisted tightly, the butt joint mechanism is discharged, and the butt joint of the steel tubes is completed.
