The invention discloses an outer wall peripheral protective enclosure and an installation method thereof. The enclosure comprises two or more steel wire ropes and multiple protective boards, wherein the steel wire ropes are arranged in parallel in the vertical direction, the protective boards are detachably installed on the steel wire ropes, both of the two ends of each steel wire rope penetrate through reserved through holes in beam columns, and each steel wire rope is fixed to the two ends of the corresponding beam column through clamping devices, the distance between every two adjacent protective boards ranges from a half meter to two meters, and two or more hooks and two or more hooking devices are arranged at the back side of each protective board, wherein the hooks are fitted with the steel wire ropes, and the hooking devices can be slid and located in the longitudinal direction and fixedly connected with the steel wire ropes. The installation method of the peripheral protective enclosure comprises the following steps: preparing materials; clearing reserved holes; putting through the steel wire ropes; fixing the steel wire ropes; hanging and fixing the protective boards. By means of the outer wall peripheral protective enclosure and the installation method thereof, the safety performance of the protective enclosure can be effectively improved, and meanwhile the installation is simple and convenient.
