The invention relates to a horizontal sliding window which comprises horizontal sliding window frame profiles, a mullion profile, horizontal sliding window sash profiles, pulleys and sealing strips. The mullion profile divides the horizontal sliding window frame profiles into two parts of the first horizontal sliding window frame profile and the second horizontal sliding window frame profile. According to the horizontal sliding window, the respective advantages that the sealing performance of a casement window is good and the opening and closing mode of a sliding window is good are combined to form the horizontal sliding window, during opening, the horizontal sliding window is the same as the sliding window, window sashes horizontally move along a glass plane, the indoor and outdoor space can not be occupied, and safety and convenience are achieved; during closing, the horizontal sliding window is the same as the casement window, the closed-loop sealing strips are formed to perform sealing, and the requirements of dust prevention, wind prevention, water resistance and good heat preservation and sound insulation are achieved.
