To provide a horizontal sliding-out window that enables a sash to open and close smoothly while securing wind pressure resistance.SOLUTION: A horizontal sliding-out window in which a sash 2 is installed in an openable/closable manner in a frame body 1 installed in an opening of a building. An upper frame 11 of the frame body is provided with a suspended part 125 for extending downward, and a top rail 21 of the sash is provided with an erecting part 223 for extending upward. The erecting part 223 is arranged on the indoor side of the suspended part 125, and at least the upper part of the erecting part 223 and at least the lower part of the suspended part 125 are arranged opposite to each other in an indoor-outdoor direction. The upper part of the erecting part 223 is provided with slope parts 224 and 225 for inclining gradually to the indoor side toward upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
