A method for preparing straw bricks includes the following step: compounding slurry consisting of wheat straws, magnesite and a coagulant to form the straw bricks, and is characterized by including the specific steps: exposing the wheat straws to the weather under a natural condition while controlling the humidity to be 17% or below, processing the straws into straw bricks through a packaging machine or a straw brick machine, wherein the magnesite material includes slurry prepared from light calcined magnesia, bittern slices and a water solution, and air hardening binding material capable of solidifying in air; compounding the straw bricks with magnesite, that is, combining slurry formed by blending magnesite material and the coagulant with the straw bricks, wherein the compounding manner of the slurry comprising straw bricks, magnesite and the coagulant is that during the pressing of the straw bricks, the slurry consisting of magnesite and the coagulant is added.
