The invention relates to a rice straw brick preparation method as well as rice straw bricks and application of the rice straw bricks. According to the invention, rice straw is pre-treated through a NaOH solution with the mass fraction of 2%-5%, the rice straw brick preparation method is optimized from the five aspects of NaOH solution soaking concentration, temperature, soaking time, forming pressure and natural curing time, and optimal preparation conditions and method are established. The preparation method is simple and convenient, the sizes of formed products are changed slightly, and the formed products are low in density and excellent in anticorrosion effect and thermal performance. Through the preparation method, the rice straw is prepared into the straw bricks, and the straw bricks are used as building wall materials, so that improvement on thermal insulation performance of a building is facilitated, application and popularization of the straw bricks for building thermal insulation are facilitated, and the straw bricks are particularly suitable for thermal insulation of agricultural buildings.
