The invention discloses a special ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The special ceramic comprises the following components in parts by weight: 3-5 parts of polyimide, 5-18 parts of forsterite, 1-3 parts of silicon carbide, 4-6 parts of rutile, 1-3 parts of feldspar, 2-4 parts of purple grit mud, 40-50 parts of red clay, 8-10 parts of kaolinite, 6-8 parts of methanol and 3-5 parts of an additive, wherein the additive comprises the following components in parts by weight: 1-2 parts of zircon, 3-4 parts of polyethyleneglycol, 2-4 parts of nano zinc oxide, 7-9 parts of nano monox, 3-7 parts of deionized water, 2-6 parts of potassium hydroxide and 1-2 parts of a silane coupling agent.
