The invention discloses a ceramic particle special for a ceramic ferrule and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic particle is prepared from the following raw materials in percent by mass: 80-90% of a ceramic powder, and 10-20% of an additive. The compositions of the ceramic powder comprise zirconium oxide and yttrium oxide, and the additive comprises polyethylene glycol, polymethyl methacrylate and silane. A partly-water-soluble additive system is employed, and thus the additive is good in fluidity after being mixed with the ceramic powder, and injection molding is smoothly completed.
