The asymmetric main chord pipe comprises a rack plate, a small cambered surface plate and a large cambered surface plate; the cross section of the small cambered surface plate is in a circular arc shape; two lateral sides of the small cambered surface plate are fixed on one side of the rack plate; the cross section of the large cambered surface plate is in a circular arc shape, wherein the radius of the cross section of the large cambered surface plate is not less than that of the small cambered surface plate; the arc length of the cross section of the large cambered surface plate is larger than the small cambered surface plate; two lateral sides of the large cambered surface plate are fixed on the second side of the rack plate. According to the truss pier leg structure and the asymmetric main chord pipe thereof, the consumed materials of main chords can be effectively controlled and meanwhile the strength of pier legs can be improved; the design of the existing surrounding wall and the matching of a lifting device and a locking device are not affected and the design cost is saved; the overlap joint and the welding of bracing pipes arranged in the same horizontal height nodes of the truss pier leg structure respectively are avoided due to the asymmetric main chord pipe, the problem of node fatigue can be solved, the machining of the bracing pipe welding intersection surface is simple, the accuracy is easy to control, the rejection rate is reduced, the polishing time is reduced, the welding operation space is increased, the operation of workers is convenient, and the welding quality is improved.
