The invention discloses a sewer obstruction prevention device. A downpipe is fixed to the lower surface of a water tank, a refuse hopper is arranged in the top of the downpipe, the refuse hopper is provided with multiple small holes, a grid is installed at the lower surface of the refuse hopper, an upstand is arranged in the center of the grid, a small ball is fixed to the top of the upstand, an upper pull handle is fixed to the small ball, transverse columns are fixed to the upstand, balls are fixed to the top of the transverse columns, a lower pull handle is fixed to the bottom end of the upstand, the bottom of the downpipe is connected to a loose joint, and the loose joint is connected to a sewer. Four layers of the transverse columns are fixed to the upstand, and each layer comprises eight transverse columns fixed to the upstand in a Chinese character Mi-type arrangement way. The sewer obstruction prevention device can prevent hair from entering into a sewer, and can block hair entering into the downpipe from the refuse hopper by the grid so that all the hair is blocked by the grid and does not enter into the sewer.
