The invention provides a novel sealing strip which comprises a main body, wherein the main body is provided with a hollow inner cavity; the outer end face of the main body is a raised circular arc surface. The invention also provides a sealing method for preventing slurry leakage. According to the sealing strip and the sealing method provided by the invention, cement slurry can be completely prevented from overflowing during casting, the construction quality is improved, the wall surface can reach the effect of a dry wall, and subsequent cleaning work for an aluminum alloy template, an aluminum alloy member and accessories is reduced.
