Multi-scale-structure SiC/C porous composite ceramic and preparation method thereof
Disclosed are a multi-scale-structure SiC/C porous composite ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The multi-scale-structure SiC/C porous composite ceramic is obtained by taking a polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber felt as a framework, settling carbon layers on the surface of the polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber felt and then growing a SiC protecting layer and SiC nanowires inside the framework. According to the multi-scale-structure SiC/C porous composite ceramic and the preparation method thereof, by settling the carbon layers on the surface of carbon fiber through the hydrothermal carbonization technology, the carbon fiber can be connected into a porous carbon framework, so that the strength and the specific surface area of the carbon framework can be improved; then by taking CO as a carbon source and SiO as a silicon source and through a chemical gas-phase reaction method, the SiC layer and the SiC nanowires can be formed inside the carbon frame to structure the SiC/C porous composite ceramic. The multi-scale-structure SiC/C porous composite ceramic has a large specific surface area and has the advantages of being easy to form and high in strength.
