The invention discloses a large-span steel temporary bridge, and aims to solve the problem of small span capacity of an assembled highway steel bridge in the prior art. The large-span steel temporary bridge comprises a truss and a cross beam which is connected between every two sections of the truss, wherein the truss consists of truss units in the shape of isosceles triangle or isosceles right triangle; the assembly structure of the truss is a double-row three-layer truss; the two ends of the double-row three-layer truss are provided with vertical rods; a fixed beam is arranged between adjacent vertical rods and is H section steel; the sectional form of the cross beam is I-shaped; the cross beam is provided with a bridge deck slab; the bridge deck slab is a U-shaped orthotropic steel bridge deck slab. The bridge has the advantages of simple structure, rational design, clear stress, few members, high assembly speed, multi-layer structure, high bearing capacity, excellent span capacity, flexibility in construction and capabilities of adapting to various complex terrains and environments and quickly opening the bridge to traffic with simple machine and labor.
