The invention relates to the technical field of building environmental protection, in particular to a ventilation heat recovery radiation external wall system, and reduces the energy consumption under the precondition of not increasing excessive cost. The external wall system mainly comprises an outer-layer wall body, a radiation wall body, an inner insulation layer and a ventilation interlayer, wherein the radiation wall body is near the indoor side, and is laid with a capillary network inside; the inner insulation layer is arranged between the outer-layer wall body and the radiation wall body; the ventilation interlayer is arranged between the inner insulation layer and the outer-layer wall body; a first ventilation runner communicated with the ventilation interlayer is arranged below the radiation wall body and the inner insulation layer; a second ventilation runner communicated with the ventilation interlayer is arranged above the outer-layer wall body; switches are respectively arranged on the first ventilation runner and the second ventilation runner; and the first ventilation runner is provided with a fan near the indoor position. The external wall system can reduce the influence of the outdoor weather condition on the indoor temperature fluctuation, and has the advantages of energy conservation, environmental protection and low cost.
