The invention relates to a crank arm structure of a vertically-hanging type awning, and belongs to the technical field of awning support manufacturing. The crank arm structure comprises a telescopic support, and the telescopic support comprises a big arm structure and a small arm structure. The big arm structure is provided with a small arm hinged seat, and the small arm structure is provided with a small arm hinge. The small arm hinged seat and the small arm hinge are hinged together. A steel wire pull rope is arranged in the telescopic support, penetrates through the small arm hinged seat and the small arm hinge and forms a channel on the small arm hinged seat and the small arm hinge. The channel comprises a first channel body which is obliquely arranged on the small arm hinge and a second channel body which is arranged on the small arm hinged seat. According to the above scheme, the crank arm structure enables the pull rope and a spring to be not likely to disengage.
