The invention discloses a crank arm type awning. The crank arm type awning comprises a rear beam, a crank arm, a front edge and awning cloth, the rear beam is used for being fixed to a wall, the awning cloth is connected between the rear beam and the front edge, the front end of the crank arm is connected to the front edge, a base is arranged on the front side of the rear beam, a rotating part is arranged at the rear end of the crank arm, the rotating part is coupled to the base, and the rotating part can rotate up and down around the base; the two ends of the awning cloth are connected between the rear beam and the front edge, and the pitching angle of the awning can be adjusted by rotating the rotating part; and therefore, a user can adjust the pitching angle of the awning more conveniently.
