The invention discloses a bottom spawning fish bed material demand model construction method which comprises the following steps: establishing a bed material experiment unit; carrying out bed material model self parameter construction; carrying out microhabitat characteristic measurement on the bed material experiment unit; carrying out biological effect test on a bed material model; and establishing a bottom spawning fish bed material fitness curve by comparing bed material model parameters, bed material microhabitat parameters and bed material biological effect parameters comprehensively, and screening out the optimal bed material model parameter range suitable for the bottom spawning fish. The method establishes the bed material research model and a model parameter evaluating system for the first time, and can be used for constructing a natural bed material environment; effective monitoring and measurement of the microhabitat parameters in the bed material model are realized; and a screening method for carrying out bed material model optimization based on the model parameters, the internal environment parameters and the biological effect parameters is provided.
