The invention relates to a diatom ooze bottom powder construction material which is composed of 30-60kg of 8000-mesh fine silica, 0.5-2kg of 600-mesh attapulgite, 2-4kg of 1000-mesh organic meerschaum, 0.5-2kg of negative oxyanion, 1-3kg of cellulose, 0.2-1kg of 3mm-long wood fiber, 40-60kg of 325-mesh ground calcium carbonate, 0.1-0.3kg of resistant cellulose, 10-30kg of coarse sand, 2-8kg of ash calcium powder and 1-3kg of 1000-mesh nano titanium dioxide. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing the raw materials according to weight, adding into a dispersion machine, dispersing in the dispersion machine for 15 minutes, and filtering. Compared with the common architectural decoration material, the diatom ooze bottom powder construction material is free of any toxic substance, has high adhesion, can be strongly bonded with the wall base layer, ensures no hollowing, shedding or powdering, and has higher water resistance, moisture resistance and air permeability. By using the 1000-mesh organic meerschaum, the viscosity is up to 1500-2000 mPa.s, thereby enhancing the performance of the paint.
