The invention relates to a novel diatom ooze fabric building material, which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 30-60 kg of 8000-mesh fine silicon earth, 10-25 kg of 2000-mesh kaolin, 0.5-2 kg of 600-mesh attapulgite, 2-4 kg of 1000-mesh organic sepiolite, 0.2-2 kg of negative oxygen ions, 1-3 kg of cellulose, 0.5-0.7 kg of wooden fibers in a length of 3 mm, 0.2-0.6 kg of foam, 40-60 kg of 325-mesh heavy calcium carbonate, 15-25 kg of coarse sand, 4-6 kg of ash-calcium powder, 1.5-2.5 kg of 1000-mesh nanometer titania, and 1-5 kg of inorganic pigment. The foregoing raw materials in percentage by weight are mixed and added into a dispersion machine, to be dispersed for 15 minutes in the dispersion machine, so that the novel diatom ooze fabric building material is obtained through filtering. Compared with an ordinary building and ornament material, the invention is free of any toxic substance and high in adhesive force, and is capable of adhesion with a wall substrate while ensuring no hollowing, falling or pulverization, and further, is more waterproof, moistureproof and breathable.
