The present invention discloses an energy-saving and environmental-protection brick and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of lightweight wall materials. The energy-saving and environmental-protection brick is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 80-86 parts of treated fly ash, 10-15 parts of cement, 5-10 parts of ceramsite and 13-20 parts of aged leachate, wherein moisture removed fly ash is subjected to aging, crushing and sorting to obtain the treated fly ash, the aging process comprises aging the moisture removed fly ash for 18-23 days and collecting the drained water to obtain the aged leachate, the crushing process is used for crushing the aged moisture removed fly ash to achieve the particle size of less than or equal to 10 mm, the sorting process is used for sorting the large particle fly ash with the particle size of 4-10 mm, the small particle fly ash with the particle size of 1-4 mm, and the micro particle fly ash with the particle size of less than or equal to 1mm, and the treated fly ash comprises the large particle fly ash, the small particle fly ash and the micro particle fly ash according to a mass ratio of 3.7-4.2:2.6-3.2:3.
