The invention belongs to the technical field of high-temperature industries of smelting, casting and the like and discloses a paste ceramic repair and seal agent. The agent comprises ceramic fibers and water. Aluminum-silicon ceramic powder identical to refractory matter substrates serves as fillers, and aluminum-silicon sol identical to refractory matter substrates serve as bonding phases. The aluminum-silicon ceramic powder is added into the dilute sol to be mixed and stirred under the coordination of organic aids to be produced into initial paste slurries; the ceramic fibers are added into the initial paste slurries slowly, stirring strongly during feeding, and stirring continuously after feeding till the ceramic fibers are dispersed uniformly to obtain the paste ceramic repair and seal agent. The agent has the advantages of capable of not cracking through rapid roasting at the high temperature and small in shrinkage and good in anti-stripping performance after high-temperature use.
