The invention provides a mullion connecting piece for an aluminum alloy sliding door and window. The mullion connecting piece comprises a connecting piece body, the surfaces of the two sides of the connecting piece body are in a sawtooth shape, a through hole is formed in the middle of the connecting piece body, the two sides of one end of the connecting piece body are concaved inwards to form grooves matched with the surface of a stand column, and the other end of the connecting piece body is provided with an opening communicated with the through hole. A cross beam is sleeved with the connecting piece body from the opening end of the connecting piece body, the stand column and the cross beam are connected in a 90-angle T shape, and the width of the end, provided with the opening, of the connecting piece body is larger than the width of the end, provided with the groove, of the connecting piece body. The mullion connecting piece solves the problem that a mullion is twisted in the T-shaped connection of the stand column and the beam, the connecting strength between the stand column and the cross beam is improved, assembly is simple, and installation is convenient.
