The invention mainly relates to a dynamic password electronic coded lock and a working method thereof. The lock comprises an electronic lock core and a coded lock control device used for controlling operation of the electronic lock core. The coded lock control device comprises an input module, a code generator, a code authentication module, and a key for controlling starting and closing of the electronic lock core. The dynamic password electronic coded lock is characterized in that a code controller includes a cloud server and a digital terminal; the cloud server contains a cloud code module which is synchronous with the code generator; the digital terminal is connected with the cloud server through a communication network to acquire a dynamic password; the dynamic password is input by an input module and then transmitted to the code authentication module; authentication is performed by comparing the dynamic password with a dynamic code generated by the code generator; and the code authentication module transmits obtained authentication result information to the key, and the electronic lock core acts under the control of the key. According to the invention, a single-time dynamic unlocking code can be obtained by effectively using practical application benefits of an electronic lock and a dynamic password.
