The invention provides a mechanical coded lock password retrieving mechanism which comprises a password wheel assembly and a movable plate movably connected in a lock body, the movable plate has a normal state and a pushing state, character wheel cores of the password wheel assembly are provided with blocking parts rotating along with the character wheel cores, and the blocking parts on the character wheel cores are consistent with unlocking parts in position. The moving plate is provided with a stop lever extending towards the blocking part of the character wheel core, and when the moving plate is in a pushing state, the stop lever moves to a motion trail range of the blocking part so as to stop the character wheel core from continuously rotating; when the movable plate is in a conventional state, the stop lever is separated from the movement track range of the blocking part so that the character wheel cores can rotate normally, and when all the character wheel cores rotate in the same direction to the state that the blocking part abuts against the stop lever, the unlocking parts of the character wheel cores are matched with the unlocking parts of the locking pieces for unlocking. The password retrieving structure is low in cost, simple in structure and convenient to install.
